Vive la winter! King St’s urban precinct is being transformed into an Apres Ski wonderland this June and July. As winter chills, King St brings the thrills, giving Brisbanites a reason to come out of hibernation.

Apres Ski will provide visitors with the ultimate French alps experience – from atmosphere to flavour, expect a warm and cosy vibe along the street, with fur cushions, warm blankets and photo-worthy signage. King St’s eateries will be serving up frosty feasts and tasty treats including hearty winter warmer meals and special hot beverages to delight on even the coldest of nights.

Nothing screams winter quite like a steaming hot bowl of ragout, and Kuhl-Cher is adding a unique touch to the traditional dish with their lamb ragout stirred through pillows of gnocchi and served with fresh chilli, torn basil and pecorino shavings.

Fromage lovers, rejoice! Our cheesy indulgences are sure to make you feel like you’re atop the French alps. Tuck into the unbelievably cheesy toasted croque monsieur at King Street Bakery and snack on Xin Chao’s jalapeño cheese bites for a snack that packs some extra heat.

Looking for a dish to warm the heart and the belly? Fat Dumpling is dishing up their slurp-worthy pork wonton noodle soup and Winghaus is serving the succulent black angus rump steak with fries, salad and your choice of mushroom or gravy sauce.

After all those frosty feasts, you’ll want to cosy up and really settle into the evening with winter’s favourite hug in a mug, mulled wine, at Il Verde.

No snow? Pas de problème! Dust off those ugg boots and puffer jackets as it’s time to brave the cold and let the magic unfold with Apres Ski on King St. Check out all of the offers via the King St website and be sure to head to King St this June and July to get a taste of the action.
