Since its inception, Negroni Week has transformed from a cocktail celebration with a charitable cause to a global movement for the greater good. Now in its twelfth year, the week-long party has turned into a canvas for bartenders to shake up their own creative twists on the three-ingredient, red-hued tipple.
In 2024, Negroni Week is calling Fish Lane Arts Precinct home once again, when even more of the laneway’s tenants are banding together to provide Negroni lovers with 20+ cocktails and perfectly paired bites – and maybe even some sweet treats – that can be enjoyed from September 16 to 22.
Presented by Campari – the red heart of any Negroni – and Imbibe Magazine, the global charity initiative puts the power of fundraising in the hands of bars and restaurants around the world, seeing them donate proceeds from the sales of the drink to Slow Food charity.
Tenants showcasing their Negroni skills this year include Bar Brutus, (who are also leading the charge of the Negroni Week Pop Up once again — they sure know how to give guests a hell of a good time), as well as Birds Nest, Chu the Phat, El Planta, Hello Please, Julius Pizzeria, La Lune, Maeve Wine Bar, Midtown, Next Episode, Southside and even Messina (cue the excited gasps of gelato lovers in Brisbane)!
