There’s a new Japanese eatery coming to town! Ichiban Sushi is set to open on September 1, gracing West End with delicious sushi, sashimi, and so much more…

To celebrate, Ichiban will be offering $3 plates from when their doors open until September 7! They will also be giving away 200 sets of traditional chopsticks and pretzel snacks to every customer during their opening week.

West End locals will be the first to experience Ichiban Sushi’s latest revamp, involving a decor refresh and most exciting of all, a new and extended liquor license. Sushi lovers can not only stay for longer, but kick back and relax while sipping on a range of Japanese and local brews. Not to fear, though, BYO will still be available.

Their iconic sushi train will remain the hero of the new venue, allowing customers to feast their eyes on the endless flow of Japanese specialties.

For those who are known to break the record for most plates accumulated at the table, Ichiban’s menu offers a range of other delicacies including their karaage chicken volcano roll, chicken katsu curry, prawn tempura udon noodle soup, and bento boxes to suit all tastes.

Ichiban, meaning ‘number one’ in Japanese, prides itself on using the highest quality produce and the freshest seafood and meats, while ensuring that all ingredients are ethically sourced. Being a family-owned business, Ichiban Sushi provides an authentic dining experience like no other, where customers are treated like their own.

The new West Village location marks Ichiban Sushi’s third Brisbane venue, joining its counterparts in Queen Street Mall and Fairfield Gardens.
