After COVID-enforced closures, the riverfront’s favourite relaxed dining destination, Riverbar & Kitchen, has re-opened today with a few favourite specials to celebrate.

After selling hundreds of pizza cob loaves during their 2019 WinterFest, Riverbar has brought back the indulgent snack for $18, perfect for pairing with a wine, beer, or cocktail from their extensive list. The team has also decided to bring back the famous lychee mojito!

Riverbar and Kitchen co-owner Matt Moran spoke of the news: “It’s a great feeling to open the Riverbar doors again after a long absence due to COVID-19,” he said. 

“As well as the delicious cob loaf special, guests can enjoy our famous lychee mojito jugs. The team can’t wait to see some familiar faces enjoying the great quality of food and drinks they’ve come to expect from Riverbar!”

Walk-ins are welcome, as always, but bookings for groups larger than four are recommended to ensure a COVID-safe procedures including social distancing and regular sanitising can be adhered to by Riverbar’s staff. 

Providing an ideal spot to enjoy arvo knockoffs, cosy up next to the fire pits with an evening drink, or dine on modern pub-style favourites, Riverbar & Kitchen will open for the below hours while some regulations are still in play, including for breakfast on weekends until 11:30am.

Monday – Thursday: 12pm – 8pm

Friday: 12pm – 10pm

Saturday: 9am – 10pm

Sunday: 9am – 6pm
