Miletic isn’t new to the upmarket fish game—he previously worked at Burleigh Heads’ acclaimed oceanfront venue, The Fish House. While some of the style and luxe elements of The Fish House carry through, One Fish Two Fish sets itself apart in its open-armed accommodation and flexibility.
The menu wades through gleefully-titled sections including Old Fish New Fish, Fancy Pants, and Don’t Leave Yet, with a range of classic fish and potato combinations, as well as jazzed-up explorations of local seafood.
Those looking to venture deeper through the menu can look forward to kingfish sashimi with green nam jim dressing, coconut cream and soft herbs, soft shell crab sliders with coleslaw and Sriracha and lime aioli, and pot-au-feu of tomato and saffron soup with potato, shellfish, prawns, and fish – served with a crusty baguette and aioli, of course!
