Fresh European wine bar, Atelier Brasserie, was designed with careful consideration of the dining experience in mind to provide a food, wine, and service experience that’s equal parts relaxed and refined.
Taking inspiration from the French word for “workshop” or “studio”, Atelier presents a tidy and carefully-crafted offering, with a focus on premium Australian and international wines in a luxe and intimate setting.
Aiming to offer a relaxed experience, championing quality produce and European flavours, Atelier’s menu highlights include a lamb cigar with house-made goat’s cheese and baba ganoush, a Moreton Bay bug raviole with parsnip in a preserved lemon bisque, and a rhubarb and lavender mille-feuille.
It’s not all about the grape at this contemporary brasserie, though; there’s a grown-up selection of cocktails on offer. Guests can enjoy the Lilywhacker with Hennessy, Antica Formula, Joseph Cartron orange curacao, and chocolate bitters, or an In Lust We Trust, with Beefeater strawberry gin, Joseph Cartron elderflower, sparkling, tonic water, and dehydrated flowers for garnish.
If you pay Atelier a visit, you might find owner Charlotte Barakat entertaining guests of her own at the bar; Charlotte comes from prime Brisbane hospitality heritage, her family having owned and operated Italian institution, Gino’s, for almost 40 years.
Set to be a staple for residents of the booming King Street precinct and beyond, Atelier is the perfect place to spend a lunch, afternoon, or evening in an intimate contemporary setting.
Atelier is now officially open and pouring wines for lunch from midday to 3pm, and dinner from 5pm to 9:30pm (Sunday to Thursday) and 5pm to 10pm (Friday and Saturday).
