Spring Onto King Street
Spring will arrive with a flourish this year as Brisbane welcomes an all-new pop up garden, set to launch October 6.
As the warmer air entices diners back outside, dynamic new foodie precinct King Street will host a space dedicated to banquets, cocktails, and blossoming greenery.
Running Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the unique experience welcomes groups to indulge in their choice of three different banquets from popular King Street restaurants.
Among the enchanting garden setting, glasses of wine will pair with towering bowls of risotto, crispy pan-fried dumplings, and fresh bistro fare, with banquets offered by Il Verde, Fat Dumpling, and The George Bar & Bistro.
Crisp wood-fired pizzas and fresh, house made risotto will bowl over diners indulging in Il Verde’s $69pp banquet. Meanwhile, chopsticks will poise over plates of shared dumplings, crispy chicken curry, and sweet soy pork belly for Fat Dumpling’s $45pp shared banquet, with a shared dessert topping off both banquets.
Diners indulging in The George’s banquet will take their seats to a share board layered with triple cream brie, prosciutto, marinated olives, artichoke dip and baguette. Following this, the table will share a lemon and rosemary slow roasted lamb shoulder or fennel and citrus roasted salmon fillet – all for just $55pp.
Each banquet includes a spring cocktail on arrival to the exclusive garden space.

Seating times: 5.30pm – 7.45pm and 8pm – late
The garden tables are available to be exclusively reserved for a period of two hours, with table sizes ranging from 2 – 12. All banquets must be prepaid, but beverages can be purchased on consumption.
