Opening on Wednesday, November 3 in a breezy open-air space at the Fortitude Valley end of King Street, The Fish Shoppe will serve an all-day menu of classic fish and chips, fancy seafood sangas, burgers and salads Tuesday-Saturday.

Must-try items on the menu include the sand crab sandwich with lemon, tomato, cucumber and herb aioli, fish parma burger with flounder schnitzel, Napoli sauce and cheese, and the Hawaiian poke salad with a choice of fresh or cooked seafood add-on.

From 4 pm Thursday-Saturday, an additional menu will offer elevated seafood snacks like a “seacuterie” platter for two, as well as One Fish Two Fish’s sell-out lobster roll with saffron mayonnaise and brown butter.

The Fish Shoppe’s bar will serve a crowd-pleasing selection of wines, beers and spritzes, and there are one-off events (similar to One Fish Two Fish’s ongoing roster), catering and pre-packed picnic boxes on the horizon, too.

A casual and approachable spot for the Valley’s edge, The Fish Shoppe is set to be the perfect spot for a work-week lunch, sundown session, or pre- or post-event stop for those en route to The Tivoli or Brisbane Showgrounds.
