Just two months after its buzzy debut, the multi-level Japanese izakaya-style bar from Solotel is cranking up the tunes and transforming Brisbane’s after-hours.
Running every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night until 3am, Goros Up Late is a bold new chapter for the venue, marking its evolution from epic dinner spot and karaoke den into a fully-fledged late-night party destination. With an extended licence and a license to thrill, Goros is turning up the volume and inviting Brisbane to get weird and wild, well into the early hours.
Taking the reins on Goros Up Late is Kate’s Brother, the brains behind Brisbane cult favourite, Sunday Service, bringing his finely tuned party instincts to the night and the decks. To kick things off on Saturday night, he’s tapped two of the city’s most exciting selectors, Baby Paws and Varnan, to deliver a genre-jumping mix of Tokyo disco, house, nostalgic bangers and bass-heavy anthems. Pair it with neon lights, crazy cocktails, and Goros’ signature chaos, and you’ve got a club night that hits different. Joining the late-night lineup are Tasha Lee and Franko, keeping the energy high and the party going till late on Friday night.
Before the club chaos kicks in, we’re setting the tone with our vinyl DJ lineups, perfect for soundtracking your weekend feasts. On Friday night, Limestone Cowboy lays down deep grooves while you dive into late-night bites, spinning until 11pm. Saturday will see Squidgenini and Kudos drop the needle on your dining adventure, serving up eclectic cuts to match your eats. Start with vinyl and snacks, stay for the dance floor and Goros’ signature chaos!
At the bar, you’ll find all the usual Goros goodness, plus a few after-dark upgrades: sake bombs served with flair, boozy bubble teas that pack an absolute punch, and bar bites made for dancing and dipping between sets.
