Liquidity’s PR team spreads the word and generates positive news stories across all kinds of print and broadcast media, enticing people to venture out and enjoy the flavoursome eateries Brisbane has to offer. Thanks to the journalists, bloggers and all round foodies who supported us this month.  Here is the latest scoop on our client mentions…

Passiontree Velvet opened their latest store at the Macquarie Centre and Sydney sweet tooths welcomed it with open arms – and mouths! Hidden among the crowd were Sydney’s top food bloggers including, Not Quite Nigella, Dessertified, I’m Still Hungry and Sydney Food Theory. Passiontree Velvet’s desserts and chocolates were perfectly captured by each blogger and spread across social media announcing the arrival of Passiontree Velvet’s Sydney café. Weekend Notes and Foodi featured Passiontree Velvet as Sydney’s latest patisserie, highlighting their quality delicacies and premium teas.

Held on the 5th May, IndiMex spiced up Stones Corner celebrating their 1st birthday combined with the National Mexican Cinco de Mayo celebration. Guests from Network 10, 4KQ, mX, Weekend Notes and Brisbane Weekender put their ponchos on and joined us for a fiesta, with Brisbane’s top foodies such as the Gourmand & Gourmet and Brisbane Food Theory shaking up social media. B105 joined the party in spirit and got their fix later with an Indimex breakfast. Their unique flavour combination also nabbed them a mention later in the month, joining fellow Liquidity client Chop Chop Changs in The Gourmand & Gourmet’s Top 5 Cultural Cuisine Mash Ups.

The International Hotel and The Fox Hotel were both mentioned in Style Magazines. The International Hotel’s big secret was revealed in Brisbane’s Bars within Bars article broadcasting the once hidden Hipwood Microbrewery, while the Fox Hotel was mentioned in the top 5 Places that aren’t booked out for Mother’s Day dining, leading to a full house.

Wandering Cooks were included in Buzzfeed’s Top 17 Secret Spots in Brisbane, while The Fox Hotel took out top spot as The Urban List’s favourite Brisbane engagement party venue. And to finish off the week (and this post) Cicada was name in The Gourmand & Gourmet’s article on Brisbane’s best bars for afterwork drinks.
