South Bank’s annual food and lifestyle event, Regional Flavours, returns this weekend with a spectacular showcase of culinary delights from local producers.
Regional Flavours 2015 will spread throughout South Bank’s lush parklands, spilling into Little Stanley Street and River Quay.
Aspiring cooks will have the chance to catch celebrity chefs in action, while sampling tasty tidbits from the precinct’s best restaurants and Queensland’s top artisanal producers.
Little Stanley Street will be transformed into a food truck parking-lot, while River Quay will showcase its award-winning restaurants through pop-up stalls and live entertainment.
With fresh produce and demonstrations from over 80 providores, there is sure to be something to satisfy every tastebud. We’ve narrowed down our top picks for the two day event below.
The Hunting Club Presented by LIVEFIRE
As the new host of The Hunting Club this year, LIVEFIRE are set to dish up a selection of soul foods and local craft beers matched by brew guru Matt Kirkegaard. Other tasty tipples include mulled wine and local wines by Clovely Estate. Football fans and foodies will have the opportunity to catch Liverpool FC vs. Brisbane Roar live on the big, outdoor screen this Friday evening.
