Have you heard the latest buzz? Brisbane’s renowned Espresso Martini Festival is returning to Fish Lane, set to shake and stir the caffeinated cocktail scene for the second year running.
Cue the heart palpitations and get ready to fall in love all over again with the infamous espresso martini, while you sip your way around a selection of creative concoctions by Fish Lane favourite’s Hello Please and Ol’ School, accompanied by a selection of Vietnamese street eats and seafood surprises.
Bringing back the best kind of daily grind was an all too easy decision, launching on Ekka Holiday eve.
Taking place on Tuesday 14 August from 5:30pm-10pm, it is the perfect excuse to let your hair down and once again enjoy all things espresso martini in one full bodied festival.
Maris Cook, of South Brisbane’s beloved Hello Please says “After the success of the event last year, it was a no brainer to bring back the Espresso Martini Festival to the thriving Brisbane dining precinct Fish Lane. This year guests can expect to enjoy a range of different twists on classic espresso martinis, paired with the delicious flavours of Hello Please and Ol’ School.”
This year’s cocktails are guaranteed to be sip-worthy, with the likes of a condensed milk ice cream cold drip vanilla martini and a rum salted golden syrup espresso martini.
There are three more decadent concoctions yet to be announced, which are guaranteed to get guests’ sip of approval.
Tickets are $45 per person (plus booking fee) and include an espresso martini on arrival to get your engine firing, plus a selection of street eats and bites from the team at Hello Please and Ol’ School.
Keep cravings in line with a menu of street food such as a spicy fish cake bao, potato scallop szechuan curry mayo, prawn crackers or keep things classic with a fish dim sim – all ready to be washed down by a handcrafted cocktails.
To save you from bouncing off the walls, the festival will also offer a range of 4 Pines beer, Save our Souls wine and a range of soft drinks.
Fish Lane’s Brooklyn inspired laneway vibes are once again the perfect backdrop for the festival, with the space being brought to life with creative pop up bars, shared lounge spaces, and industrial styling from event experts Brandition.
Like the perfect crema, the Espresso Martini Festival is ready to rise to the top. Prepare to espresso yourself again, and again.
