Sunday May 1, the community of the inner-city suburb are rallying together to celebrate this beloved celebration after a two-year hiatus.
Stones Corner Festival is thrilled to announce another stellar lineup of Aussie artists with music group, Sneaky Sound System headlining. With their high energy dance hits, it’s a no brainer these legends are a staple on the local pop charts. Followed by live acts like Quentin & The Tarantino’s, with their 9 piece band giving you the ultimate ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Reservoir Dogs’ dance vibes.
From midday Ska punk band, The Porkers, Good Will Remedy, Jollee, Full Power Happy Hour, Cheap Date will be blessing your ears with beats. New to the music scene, Sofia Isella will be taking the stage with her undeniable presence.
Rallying together for a good time but also for a good cause with the root of the festival raising money for MND and Me Foundation, where funds for Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease and supporting ongoing research are distributed. Gold coin donations are encouraged on the day with the opportunity to win a variety of raffles.
Out with the old in with the new they say? Not too worry crowd faves will still be making an appearance at the beloved event, although making their debut will be distillers 4 Pillars Gin, Aperol Spritz, Your Mates Brewing Co, Heads of Noosa and internet sensations newest brew, Better Beer.
Over twenty brewers will be pouring throughout the day with veterans Little Creatures, 4Pines, Slipstream, Balter, Eumundi, Brookvale Union, Mountain Goat and Green Beacon providing the usual quench thirsters. In between brews, be sure to catch a bite at the many food trucks scattered through the streets. From burgers & fries to paella, tacos to pizza there’s something to feed the whole family.
