It’s never too hard to twist our arms into a sneaky midweek cocktail, but thanks to Negroni Week there’s no twisting involved (except for the orange peel, of course).

The power of a Negroni knows no bounds. Although it’s definitely an acquired taste (made up of equal parts rosso vermouth, dry gin and Campari, the red heart of the renowned cocktail), the Negroni remains so revered that it’s carved out a whole week for itself.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, Negroni Week is the global charity initiative presented by Imbibe and Campari that puts the power of fundraising in the hands of bars and restaurants around the world, seeing them donate proceeds from the sales of the drink to official and truly worthy charity partners.

Tenants of the Fish Lane Arts Precinct – a vibrant urban street-scape that is home to some of the best restaurants and bars in Brisbane – have banded together to provide Negroni lovers 40 + cocktails that can be enjoyed between September 12 – 18 around the precinct.

Billykart West End, Bar Brutus, Chu the Phat, Hello Please, Julius Pizzeria, Kiki, La Lune, Maeve Wine Bar, Southside and Saccharomyces will be serving up a variety of cocktails, dishes, and even desserts for the sweet-tooths among us.

In true Fish Lane fashion, there will also be a pop-up bar from the team at Bar Brutus and two sensational events within the week-long festivities, designed for fans of Negroni to sip on endless varieties of the classic cocktail.
