Midtown Bar is turning up the sparkle on Friday, October 24 with a Champagne Day celebration that is equal parts elegance and mischief. Think $3 Tasmanian oysters, a decadent caviar menu and bottles of Laurent-Perrier flowing from 4pm, all to the soundtrack of live music.
The menu is unapologetically indulgent. Guests can dive into Spanish Siberian Sturgeon Baerii ‘Esturion de Sarrion’ served by the tin with all the trimmings, mother of pearl spoon, toasted sourdough, crème fraîche and chives. For those who like their decadence a little cheekier, there is lobster toast crowned with caviar, beef tartare on fried cassava and even caviar-topped chicken nuggets. Luxe but with a wink.

Of course, it would not be Champagne Day without Laurent-Perrier. Midtown is making sure the fizz flows freely, setting the scene for the ultimate Fish Lane rendezvous.
“Champagne Day is about celebrating life’s finer things,” said chef and owner, Daniel Miletic. “At Midtown, we like to pair that with a sense of play, because who says Champagne and caviar cannot be fun too?”
Bookings are highly recommended, though Midtown will always have room for a few spontaneous walk-ins.
