ABOUT US:

Liquidity is a contemporary marketing and communications agency renowned for producing innovative campaigns for the hospitality industry. We require a junior consultant to assist with the creation of innovative content and client management for our constantly expanding portfolio.

THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist with big ideas who is immediately available to join the team.

  • Do you have the ability to manage your workload and your clients and still have time to discuss who has the best pulled pork rolls in Brisbane?
  • Can you write compelling content that reflects brand personality, attracts new audience members and converts them into leads?
  • Do you love to assemble social media content that drives engagement and attracts new users?
  • Do you enjoy constructing engaging email campaigns and have the ability to analyse its impact on the audience?

THE TASKS:

  • Manage a range of clients simultaneously to ensure retainer requirements are met at all times.
  • Plan and create content for multiple digital platforms to engage audience members and generate new leads.
  • Adapt to the personality of each brand and write compelling, keyword-rich content to be published across websites, email marketing campaigns, blog posts, social media and printed marketing collateral.
  • Oversee the content creation and optimization process from initial concept to factual research, keyword placement, design, editing, proofing and publishing.
  •  Track performance of the content using a range of analytics tools.
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve and add to the marketing strategy based on reports.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL IDEALLY HAVE: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field.
  • A passion and understanding of the products, trends and services relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • 2 years minimum experience in account management, copywriting, social media, email marketing and lead generation. Skills in graphic design and photography would be an added bonus.
  • Experience in writing and editing content in various styles, voices and tones to adapt to different audiences, services and brand personalities.
  • A strong understanding of search engine optimisation and the ability to review and implement on-page techniques in online content and sales driven copy.
  • Ability to operate website content management systems including wordpress, squarespace, joomla etc.

THE HOURS:

4 days per week, casual pay rate, with the potential for full time work following a successful trial period.
