You know sips about to go down when everyone’s favourite pink-hued event rolls into town each October. Now in its ninth year since conception, Rosé Revolution is returning to architecturally acclaimed Fish Lane once more with a month’s worth of ticketed and non-ticketed events for endless sipping – yes please!
Mark your calendars for ‘Taste, Drink, Enjoy’ on Saturday, October 8. Presented by Bandini Prosecco Rosé, this Town Square pop-up party will offer wine tastings from over 32 wineries across Australia, New Zealand, Italy and France.
Both pink wine aficionados and those curious about rosè are invited to taste, drink and enjoy in the green urban oasis of Fish Lane. General admission tickets are $55 pp which will include a complimentary Bandini Prosecco on arrival and nibbles with tastings available for purchase. Those looking for a more exclusive experience can purchase VIP tickets for $89 pp which will allow for earlier entry and 1-hour of complimentary tastings and education from winemakers and wine gurus as well as nibbles.
For those looking to indulge in a less structured environment, some of Fish Lane’s much-loved foodie retailers are set to be tickled pink with their own Rosé All Day offerings (always on) and signature rosé events throughout the month.
Head to the newest kid on the block, Butler Wine Bar, for Rosé Aperitivo Hour which includes freshly shucked oysters with rosé granita ($2 each) and complimentary aperitivo with your first rosé purchase. Famous favourites from last year, like the rosé martini from Bar Brutus and the rosé margarita from Kiki Kiosk, will also be available.
La Lune Wine Co and Maeve Wine Bar will both host delectable lunches with matching rosés on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 23 respectively. Billykart’s highly popular bottomless ‘rosé all day’ brunch is also set to return on Sunday, October 30, while you can sit down for a brand new super rosé banquet from Chu the Phat – available every Sunday in October.
If a little wine gets your creative juices flowing, you’re in luck. As one of the city’s most creative hubs, it’s only fitting that Fish Lane’s Chu the Phat host a paint and sip night (rosé themed, of course) with complimentary drink on arrival on Wednesday, October 12 for $35 pp.
Rosé Revolution and all of its month-long celebrations make for the perfect excuse to dress up, celebrate spring and enjoy flavourful food and wine.
