Rumour has it some fantastic new venues are on their way to Brisbane’s hospitality scene. We’re excited to be working on these new projects and will be keeping the finer details under wraps for now. However, we can tell you the following:
CHE Asado & Bar
You may have gotten your hands on a sneak peek of CHE’s goods during Regional Flavours. Set to take over the iconic piece of South Bank real estate held by The Point Bistro, this Argentinian restaurant is sure to heat things up.
Brooklyn Standard
Adam Barton is at it again. The man behind Cove Bar & Dining and part-owner of Locanda Osteria is bringing a new bar to Brisbane’s CBD. Brooklyn Standard will be nestled on Eagle Lane and have a focus on live music. Construction of the 200 capacity venue is set to be completed in mid-October.
Brunch, Bubbles and Bacon Ice Cream
South Bank’s favourite dessert hotspot, Cowch, is launching a long-awaited breakfast menu on the 1st of September. Breakfast cocktails, champagne brunch and bacon ice cream waffle bowls (yes, you absolutely read that right) are coming your way Brisbane.
