The Urban Bliss Silent Yoga Movement is raising funds for the Black Dog Institute – a world leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illness. Australia is facing a mental health crisis and we are bringing the Brisbane community together to do something about it.

All profits from the event will be donated to the Black Dog Institute and we hope to bring awareness to the amazing work they continue to do for people battling mental illness.

This will be Brisbane’s first silent yoga event and King George Square is supporting this movement by turning the sound down for charity. The centre of the city will be transformed into a relaxation wonderland! Participants will wear illuminated wireless headphones and move to the music by Silent Sounds while Esther Wallace-Hill guides 250 urban yogis to bend, stretch and breathe.

This revolutionary silent yoga concept is taking the health and wellness industry by storm. We don’t want Brisbane to miss out on this awesome new way to bring yoga to the masses.

We are encouraging the Brisbane community to ‘DO A DOWN DOG FOR THE BLACK DOG!’

This 75 minute yoga class will be for everyone – from yoga newbies, rookies, pros to superheroes! You will find a moment of bliss as the sun sets on our beautiful city while supporting a great cause.

Get a groups of friends, workmates, your sports team, or mothers group together and enjoy a Sunday afternoon of BLISS!
